Portfolio at Risk (PAR)
If your SACCO uses MIS software (e.g. AmTech, Eassysaco, Saccobox), PAR figures are usually available in your loan or portfolio reports. Otherwise, PAR is calculated as: (Outstanding loans in arrears ÷ Total outstanding loan portfolio) × 100. PAR @60 and @90 apply the same formula for loans overdue by 60 or 90 days respectively.
